Your Support is Appreciated
We provide a fresh, plentiful diet for our psittacine family, consisting of a wide variety of seeds, walnuts, almonds, macadamia nuts, brazil nuts, eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables. We also provide many toys to entertain parrots who would, in their natural environment, be spending 70% of their waking hours searching for food if they were not captive. We maintain large heated indoor aviaries to permit free flight year round, and we provide for medical needs as required including hospitalization when rescued parrots arrive in dire need.
The care we provide, however, requires a tremendous amount of funding – much more than that generated by sales in our gift shop. We therefore rely on donations from the public. Our Society is registered and can provide tax-deductible receipts as needed for those who wish to help support and forward our cause.
